Disagreement is Harrassment?

At least, according to Twitter it is.

It’s a sad world we live in when disagreeing with somebody’s opinion can now be considered a form of harassment, but here we are today.

3473734Twitter has given the option for it’s users to report others for simply disagreeing with them. That’s right, a forum for voicing your thoughts and opinions in 140 characters or less, that is designed to connect you with others is now taking action against.. disagreement.

I don’t need to explain the absurdity of this but I do hope it won’t last for long. It’s only a matter of time before this new feature is exploited and abused. It’s not uncommon for Twitter to be used to shame and silence people after all.
